UNITED FASHION SEE SHOWROOM

In the presence of numerous domestic and foreign audiences, participants at the “United Fashion SEE“ Showroom, exhibited their brand new AW 19/20 collections within the largest fashion event in capital city of North Macedonia.

As a member of the international association that is implementing the “United Fashion“ project, 19. Fashion Weekend Skopje welcomed a plethora of emerging labels from seventeen European countries. Their latest creations were displayed at the promotional stands in the venue of European University.

Apart from the host country, media guests and international buyers had a unique opportunity to get closely acquainted with the work of designers and brands from Belgium, Germany, Portugal, France, Romania, Latvia, Estonia, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Kosovo.

The main goal of the “United Fashion“ project in Skopje was to promote fashion designers from Southeastern Europe (SEE) to international buyers and media representatives, as well as to connect designers from the European Union with Macedonian factories.

For this purpose, activities included presentation of the SEE market by professionals in the industry, presentations from selected local manufacturers, visiting factories and meetings between participating designers and local producers.

Besides Fashion Weekend Skopje, the European fashion industry support associations which take part in the “United Fashion“ project are: MAD Brussels Fashion and Design Platform (Belgium), Flanders DC (Belgium), ModaLisboa (Portugal), Baltic Fashion Federation (Latvia), Maison de Mode (France) and Fashion Council Germany (Germany).
