— Home of Cre­ators, is open­ing an incu­ba­tion pro­gram to 4 Euro­pean fash­ion design­ers. This pro­gramme is open to design­ers under 35 inter­est­ed in sus­tain­able fash­ion – ready-to-wear and acces­sories.

Call

As lead­ing part­ner of the Unit­ed Fash­ion project, MAD — Home of Cre­ators, is open­ing an incu­ba­tion pro­gram to 4 Euro­pean fash­ion design­ers. This pro­gramme is open to design­ers under 35inter­est­ed in sus­tain­able fash­ion – ready-to-wear and acces­sories.

The incu­ba­tion pro­gramme will take place in Brus­sels and last one year between April 2020 and March 2021.
The select­ed design­ers will be asked to be part of a tem­po­rary design stu­dio. The aim of this design stu­dio is to con­duct research on and devel­op a mini sus­tain­able and afford­able fash­ion col­lec­tion led by MAD.

MAD is a non-prof­it organ­i­sa­tion sup­port­ing the fash­ion and design sec­tors based in Brus­sels. MAD is also the leader of the project Unit­ed Fash­ion gath­er­ing 8 Euro­pean part­ners with the aim to sup­port and enhance the inde­pen­dent fash­ion indus­try in Europe. Each select­ed design­er will receive a mis­sion fee of 5.000 euros for the cre­ation of this collection.

HOW TO APPLY

Appli­ca­tions are open till the 13th of Novem­ber 2019.

The selec­tion will hap­pen in two rounds:
1. Based on the appli­ca­tion 10 design­ers will be pre-select­ed by end-Novem­ber 2019.
2. Based on an inter­view either in per­son or by Skype. The four final design­ers will be select­ed and informed by mid-Decem­ber 2019.
